I want to rename my wireless adapter's connection to Wi-Fi from Wi-Fi 2
but when I do it says error, cannot rename this connection. A connection with the name you specified already exists. specify a different name.
I already tried these commands in command prompt to see if It would show my ghost adapter. I couldn't see any ghost adapter that had the name of Wi-Fi.
devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices=1 start
devmgmt.msc
view hidden devices
(I even reset my router to its default settings.)
Can anyone help me resolve this issue please?
