Changed my graphics settings in bios, now cant see anything... but still boots windows fine???

so i have the z87 expert motherboard, i was looking through my bios at the settings and noticed the graphics settings were set to auto... so i changed it to my gpu... now i cant see/no signal in bios but i can boot windows and get a signal fine there?

any help?

Look in your mobo manual. Is your graphics card or motherboard attached to your monitor?

i did have it in the gpu originally, then changed it after it stuffed up to no result. then changed it back... can't find where you mean as the manual is massive...

Is your graphics card or motherboard attached to your monitor? Try it the other way around.

yeah thats what i mean, i swapped it already.... would there be any reason why the bios would be changed and not the desktop?

reset your bios
enter bios and set it to peg1 mode(first pci-e for gfx).
save and quit
then connect the monitor to the gpu. 1s you see an image go back to bios and disable any onboard gfx you may have.

ok people.... i cannot see anything from gpu or motherboard in my bios.... please get that, it's the problem...

so turned off my pc, my boss told me about a bios default overide on my motherboard.. pressed that.. connected my screen to mobo.. and whala... everything is fixed now...
