I'm going to buy an i7 4790 (non k version), and I just want to know if I need to buy an aftermarket cooler for this procie. Since I won't be able to do any overclocks.
I've read in other threads that the i7 4790k seem to have cooling problems, like a high idle temp and a very high load temp.
Thank you in advance :)

I don't really think u should use the stock cooler if ur going to stress ur processor, i have the stock cooler ( Going to buy 212 evo, don't have it already because im on vacation :p ) and temps avg 50~ celsius but when i do some 3D rendering ( Full Load ) it goes up to 90+ celsius so u should be careful. Hope it helps :)

Post your own thread and we can fix that too.
