Yesterday, I put my laptop to sleep and practiced Blender on my desktop for a few hours. Once I was done, I woke up my laptop. What appeared on the screen is at the beginning of this video:

I clicked "Start Windows Normally" and managed to log in my PC. I noticed the wi-fi triangle icon on the task bar unusually and continuously searching for a wi-fi network. It usually connects to my home network right away when I log in. And after about 2 minutes of searching for a network, the icon froze (the blue circle stopped spinning), for which I panicked and click Google Chrome right after. My cursor turned into an hour glass and then froze on my screen. And after clicking once right after that, my desktop turned into a white tint (sort of like it's unresponsive).

Panicking again, I held down the power button and shut it down. I turned it back on and met the same screen as in the beginning of the video and clicked "Start Windows Normally". My computer unusually took very long to get to the log in screen. After I logged in, I dealt with the same sequence of events again.

So, the next time i turned on my laptop, I went into safe mode. Again, it took very long to get to the log-in screen and to sign in. However, this time--even though it still too very long--my computer successfully connected to my home network. After I was connected, much of the lag I was experiencing was gone, but the speed at which the webpages loaded in Chrome was still noticeably slower than usual.

The video I recorded of how my computer is behaving is above.

I'm a massive amateur when it comes to doing computer stuff and I'd truly appreciate it if anyone can make light of what's happening to my laptop. Feel free to ask for something if I didn't explain things that well.

Thank you.

P.S. I've tried a system restore which solved nothing.

Solution
Windows classic theme = slower then Aero/glass enabled

Avast is garbage and mcafee security scan plus is Crapware then theres Malware bytes why even have multiple conflicting security products?

You need to do hardware tests to check all hardware, if the hardware is ok its a software fault - reinstall
