Getting BSOD as well as complete PC freezes while gaming

Hello everyone.

I've had my PC for about 7 months and gaming has been fine until about 2 weeks ago, where I've had complete PC freezes with stuttering audio and BSODs. They only happen while gaming (e.g. bf4), but also on less intensive games like chivalry medieval warfare and cs:go.

At first I thought the CPU was overheating because coretemp showed temps from 80-100 degrees celcius when running bf4. So I cleaned and reapplied thermal paste (using the stock cooler). Today while running bf4 the cpu reached around the 70s (when i tried to exit the game the PC completely froze and had to cut off power). My idle temps range from mid 20s-mid 30s.

These BSOD logs are from whocrashed:

Solution
Start with the normal things, make sure you have the latest BIOS and mobo drivers, run both a Malware and Virus check and see if it continues, might also run a disk check and memory diagnostics

Hi Tradesman1, I've done the things you've suggested(updates+antivirus/malware) and memory diagnostics reported no issues (ran it about 5 passes). and also acquired an SSD for the OS (booting and loading anything was taking ages on the HDD). So win 7 was clean installed on the SSD and the HDD was formatted. I don't have the time to test games and such yet but I'll report back when i get the chance, and if any freezes/BSOD happen again
