Hello and good day to all,

so my new pc build isnt going to have a cd drive as my budget is really tight at the moment. I know how ever that windows can be installed from a USB flash drive.

My question is can you put two windows OS ( 7 and 8 ) into one usb and use the other one if one of them doesnt work. ( as if used them on other system and im not so sure if they have been deactivated. And if its possible to do so on my gigabyte 990fxa ud3 motherboard.

Thank you for your time and input. All replies are highly appreciated.

I have also read that many people have installed windows 8 on windows 7 boards and older with no problems.

but i think we are veering off course here...

my first question still comes unanswered. Can you put 2 OS's into one bootable USB flash drive ?

I'm sorry I got it wrong I only had time to review a few pages before I had to do something else (injury) I assumed that any information relating to OS incompatibilities would be on the motherboards official page. Best of luck with your build.
