Ok so i am finally able to purchase a new gaming / general use computer, i have a little less money than i originally would of liked so my budget is ~$1000 AUD (preferably under).

Here is what i have come up with so far:
Intel Pentium Anniversary Edition G3258
Phanteks PH-TC14PE
MSI GTX 750 Ti Gaming 2Gb
Kingston HyperX (2x4Gb) 1600Mhz LP
Gigabyte GA-Z97-HD3
Western Digital WD Black 500GB
Antec HCG 620w Modular
Phanteks Enthoo Pro
= $914 Total
I chose the Pentium so i can overclock it to quite high frequencies, the PH-TC14PE will do the job fine right?
Any input on this build would be appreciated

Solution
use stock intel cooler. non-OC build
-the GPU can be OCed to match Radeon 270X and GTX 760
-CPL online is cheaper
-at $950, you can get Radeon 280X. it is up to you

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: Intel Core i5-4460 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor ($209.00 @ CPL Online)
Motherboard: MSI H97M-G43 Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($113.00 @ CPL Online)
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($99.00 @ CPL Online)

Could you suggest a i5 processor + GPU for my budget, i will be ordering off pccasegear.com (things are generally more expensive in australia)
Also i do not quite understand what you mean about unbalanced, all the components are fairly low end imo. Cheers

I put this together on the website i want to buy it off (pretty much the same as you suggested) - https://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=wish_lists&wlcId=326374&action=wish_lists
Just one more thing, what is the advantage of going with the i5-4460 in this build over the unlocked Pentium G3258 + a cooler and overclocking it (which would be cheaper also) Thanks for you help anyway man ;)

EDIT: changed the psu to the 620 W version
