Hi guys!
I just bought a new android double din for my car and, when delivered, will need to update it and install POIs, maps, apps, etc. I would like to plug it at home as I can use my wifi to do this and it is easy to work on a table.

I have a power adapter from an old laptop that outputs 12V DC 6 amp.

My question is: will this be enough to power the unit for testing and updating?

I don't intend to plug any speakers, just software uploading and testing.

Thank you for your help!

Hello,

If the unit has a 5-amp rated fuse, you can safely use that adapter.
