getting back my musichi. my machine and my hard disk is starting to die, and have a Toshiba 1 tb 3.0 usb external drive, and was trying to fix visual studio 2010 and sql server, so I thought I would format the external drive, so copied my folders over, like favorites, movies, tv, programs, etc, and I did copy my music 25 gb folder over, have a Toshiba a 300 satellite psag4a 0-2300m and got a 180 gb hard disk. and then for some reason, when I created the zip, was almost full, so I thought I would put it in the recycle bin, well. had about 4 gb left, and now, have lost all the music, and hard to get back, from relatives, ripped from cds, and from a friend, who has it on his external hard drive, and does not have it in the cloud. tried data recovery software, as I do not have a credit card or paypal, cannot pay for it, and also totally blind and use a screen reader jaws for windows from htttp://www.freedomscientific.com. and so. either have to pay, which I cannot do, mouse driven, or not accessible. so. tried a few different ones, tried anomeii standard 5.5, it took 10 hours to scan my 932 gb external drive, a 1 tb drive, then got the readed not responding message. so was wondering, are there any accessible free undelete recycle bin utilities, that will undue from disk clean ups, and deleted files from the recycle bin, say back to july 1 and 2, when I moved my music folder. I use my music, on a 32 gb flash drive, and listen to my music while on the treadmill. and able to listen and a panosonic portable stereo in the garage, plays usb. so, can any one help me to get my music back. my friend, who is interstate in Australia, does not have it on the cloud, and only on his main laptop hard drive and an external drive. any help would be appreciative. using internet explorer and firefox. or do I just keep looking for undelete recycle bin utilities, as my usb transfer is very slow. marvin.

Thing is, mate, you should have backed up your music files to another hard drive, not merely wish you had when something like this happens.

Free file recovery software: http://pcsupport.about.com/od/filerecovery/tp/free-file-recovery-programs.htm

I've never used any of them because all my data is backed up - - three times, so I can't say if they are any good or which one is the best.

I hope you are successful, and if you are, back it up in future!
