No display from Graphics card only from onboard

Hey guys, well basically the title is self explanatory, I keep getting no display from my graphics card but i do get video from my onboard, what should I do? This isnt a new pc, it was working fine until i got a power cut and now it wont work, graphics cards fans are running normally
 
Solution
Go into your BIOS (usually by hitting the F2 or DEL key during boot). Look for a tab called display, graphic display or similar. It should give you a list of options that correspond to the order of graphics adapters that your PC will look for at startup. Look for and select PEG or PEG/IGP - that will cause your system to look at your PCI-E slot first, then if it doesn't find anything there it will default to your integrated graphics processor. Then exit to boot. If your GPU doesn't show up, shutdown and restart. If it still doesn't show up, we'll try another tack.
