Guys I had a feeling for a while now that my HDD was the constant source of frustration when my PC would just freeze usually under load.So I got around to running a HDD scan and these are the results, and so far compared to other results this result seems sporadic.

Do I need a new HDD or are these results not indicating random freezing? Thanks guys and advice pertaining to my "Freezing Issue" is welcome :)

edit:BTW this build of mine is quite new
specs:
MOBO:970AD3P
CPU:FX6300
VGA:R9270X
PSU:55OW CORSAIR
RAM:G skill 8GB (4*2)
HDD:SEGATE 500GB 7200RPM
CASE:ANTEC300

Those results are very poor for a HDD. However it doesn't necessarily mean that it's failing hardware. That is why i7 has given you the advice he has. If you have software (read virus/malware) that is making constant use of your HDD, it could cause this to happen.

Once you've checked for malware / virus (MalwareByte is pretty good as a standalone scanner), then check the hardware itself.

segate has a diagnostic tool which you have to put on cd then run at boot,it tells your HDD health.
