I am getting the Asus Maximus VII Hero, the Z97 motherboard.

I am really confused about the RAM, I want 2133Mhz RAM at least, with 9 latency.

All RAM I found like this one: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/corsair-memory-cmy8gx3m2b2...

Have 1.6 or more volt.

I want this PC to work 5 years at least. SO will it harm my PC to get 1.65V or I should get 1.5V or lesser ?

thanks!

For systems where the main goal is long-term stability and reliability, I would recommend sticking to stock voltages and IIRC, Intel's CPUs are only rated for 1.5V maximum memory voltage so I would stick to 1.35-1.5V DIMMs.

Thanks for quick and helpful reply!
Can you suggest me any good RAM of Corsair for this system then?

Since there is so little benefit to going beyond 1600-9-9-9, I would not bother paying much of a premium to go beyond that.

Newegg's parametric search is your friend...
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=E...

Order the list by price, look at how much you gain for the extra bucks and pick whatever price point you are comfortable with.

If you absolutely want 2133-9 at 1.5V, you are going to have to pay $140-160 for it instead of ~$95 for 1866-9... huge premium for almost no benefit.

VERY helpful! We don't have newegg in India, yet. That's why I didn't bothered to check there, but I can get the model number and check if it's available here.
Last thing I want to ask, maybe I got it wrong, but did you said there is no benefit of 2133-9 over 1866-9 ?

Unless you are running extremely RAM-intensive programs, there is relatively little benefit to anything faster than 1600-9-9-9

For performance improvements mostly in the sub-5% range, even the $10-20 premium (15-25%) to go from 1600-9-9-9 to 1866-9-x-x is a little questionable.

What about the warranty?
You know G.Skill is not in India OFFICIALLY, Triputi is importing it and selling it. So there is warranty issue in G.Skill.
