hey guys im getting annoying stutter and lag spots in all of my games no matter the age or graphic settings

amd 975BE with H50
vengance 1866 8gb
ichill 770
500gb HD
Asus m5a97 R2

it gets worse when my cmputer gets more usage so eg after play a couple of games with moments of heavy load seems to degrade te performance untill i do a restart but even still my computer still struggles at some basic non gaming useage after, i though it may be the cpu purhaps the cach just isnt enough these days? i have a g19 so i can see how they are running and seem to be running pretty normal so is the ram, but they may be a few times the cpu max's out but i wouldnt think that this would freeze up my computer?

well i was looking at a new cpu but thought id ask first incase any one knew it might be anything else i should look at too. thanks!

2x4 dual channel, ive got a antac 650w platinum, toshiba 7k1000.d. cpu temps are about 55C while gaming, i tried overclocking a bit in the past which coursed a bundle of issues having to fairly over volt one core to get it stable when gaming but went back to default. gpu temp i can find out later but its usally very low i think using fur mark it topped out at about 70C. i also use shadow play but i think i sitll have the same probelm, but ill try without in a min

did you see in your case if there's dust in your cpu cooler and/or gpu? remove as much as dust as possible if your case is not dust proof, also clean your pc, defrag, disable unnecesary services, get everything updated to its latest.

yeah, i do all that on a weekly basis xD i know the phenom 2's are great cpus but maybe nowadays with my 770 its just bottlenecking it? :/  when i quit a game itll exit quick in a matter of seconds but i have to wait like 30 secs after because its just completely slowed and even open up a webpage will take a good few 10 seconds to load like youtube home page for example so im not guessing its my gpu. i did get the ram and cpu second hand could it be posslibe previous owners overlcoked them and has just degraded them?

what about your net? test on pingtest and speedtest, your gpu is bottlenecked by your cpu but maybe its your net

ping is fine, well ill hunt for something to monitor everything and see if i can catch anything in the act but i have a feeling its cpu but tbh on CSGO or black ops 1 the cpu should be totataly fine and i wouldnt of thought a bottle neck would cause lower frames not heavy stutter :/

disable some antivirus/malware, it can cause laggs and stutters

still after not much luck just yesterday i change the fan speed for my rad as my cpu was hitting low 60. atm no stutter :/  think the last user of my cpu might have ruined it a bit or somthing but getting cooler has seemed to do the trick. strange. but thanks for the help! ^_^
