Old 5.1 speakers, new sound card

So I've apparently been out of the loop a while. I have an old set of Cambridge Soundworks 5.1 speakers. They're made for a line in and rear in set of connections to the sound card. Green and Black in other words. My sound card has 3 x 3.5mm jacks: green, black and... orange? Apparently the orange is for the center and subwoofer.

So I didn't notice this until I got all the speakers set up. I found the green and black jacks, overlooked the orange one... and only the front left and right speakers work. The front center, rear pair and subwoofer do not, no matter what settings I try via the software (stereo, quadraphonic, 5.1, 7.1).

So, is there a solution to this or am I just SOL and need to buy new speakers?

Sounds like a 5.1 soundcard; green should be for the fronts, Black for the rears, and Orange for Center/Sub. OS should be set to 5.1.

First question: Are you trying to play a 5.1 audio source? Having 5.1 is nice, but if your trying to play a stereo output, you'll get stereo out.

Thanks for the attention, mate.

The problem is that my speakers only have green and black jacks; green for "Line in" and black for "rear" or "surround" in. What I'm looking for is some way to either adapt the software for my realtek sound device to work with the old speakers or a physical adapter that will allow my old speakers to plug directly into my new motherboard.
