Upgrading Laptop RAM

I'm about to upgrade my laptop RAM (3 GB now). I will always use a 64-bit operating system (Win 8.1 Pro x64 OEM). My laptop has two slots both filled with one 2 GB RAM and one 1 GB Ram stick. I've planned to buy one 4 GB RAM stick to replace that 1 GB stick. the problem is I can't find a RAM with the same speed (533 MHz) and CAS Latency (7-7-7-20). I see more RAM sticks with 667MHz and CL9 CAS Latency.. If I use the 2 GB RAM stick in my laptop already with the new one (like that 667MHz and CL9 CAS), will it work? I prefer this website to buy, www.flipkart.com.. I want someone to clear my doubt and if you recommend a product from that website, that would be grateful :)

Solution
also on that one down in the reviews someone does say its supports "RAM timings are 7-7-7-20 CL-tRCD-tRP-tRAS and runs at 1066 MHz frequency." which is your timeings so again that's the best match that I can tell of
533 is a rare ram speed. what is your laptop model number? it might support a more common speed though you would need to replace both sticks. also what are the part numbers on your current ram? does it say something like ddr10850 or anything. kinda just need more info to see what your laptop will work with

My laptop is SONY VAIO E-Series (VPCEB34EN)

How about these RAMs?

The 1st product above has exactly 533 MHz and also it says SONY laptop RAM, but with different CAS Latency (but it was out of stock for over a year and they might have stopped selling).. The 2nd product is 667 MHz implying that it is a Sony laptop RAM with different CAS Latency..
NOTE: I don't want to get rid of that 2 GB stick, I need to put some more in the slot #2 replacing the 1 GB stick..
Now, if my laptop supports only 533MHz, I think i have to wait until that product comes back to stock and then buy it.. If that doesn't happen, will buying and installing a higher speed RAM say 667 MHz will work together with the older 533MHz? (I know, if this is done, the system can use 533Mhz only from both the sticks - that's not important for me)

well limited to that site is kinda hard to tell. what you need is PC-8500(DDR3-1066) ram which is a more rare type. If you can find a 667Mhz ram that also supports your 533 you could use that. the hard part is figuring out what range memory supports. some brands will support the slower freq even though they list the max speed the ram was ment to work.

mabe this one as it is listed as it is listed as DDR-1066 which is the right freq. it should work but IM NOT FOR SURE its your money. this is the one I would buy though if I had to buy from this site as its the best match I see. http://www.flipkart.com/transcend-ddr3-4-gb-laptop-ram-jm1066ksn-4g/p/itmd5vs3vnvgszkg?pid=RAMD5VS3VKBPQG8Z&srno=b_9&ref=3641e78f-b271-472c-a557-f81c7e6940a2
