Hdd vs sshd

SSHD's tend to have a small 4-8gigabyte ssd built in. The advantage to this is that they drive can perform some tasks faster. They tend to learn what you do and keep that info in the ssd cache portion of the drive.

If this is a laptop go for it for sure(many only have a single drive slot.). For desktops it is still good, but you may consider just getting an SSD in the future to use for windows.

SSDs are always fast while the SSDH is fast on things you do often(the firmware tracks and adapts.). HDD's are still usable for sure, but ssds and sshds make lots of sense these days.

Please note faster drives decrease load times, they do not add actual performance(but many users find the system feels faster because programs open or load...
