I will upgrade my graphics card from r7 260x to r9 280x and i wanted to ask will my system maintain more than 30 fps in every game maxed out on 1080p ultra wide Lg 25UM65-P.

Cpu: Amd fx 4130
Mobo: Asus M5A78L-M lx3
Gpu: Asus r9 280x
HDD: 1Tb Seagate Barracuda
Psu: Corsair Vs series 650w
Case: Zalman Z3 Plus
RAM: 1x8gb Crucial 1600Mhz

More about : max game fps

Probably not with the 4130 but everything else seems good. If you mean like EVERY game including Watch Dogs then no. Maybe not even AC4 but close to high.

youd need to upgrade your cpu to a 8350 or higher (9xxx) and possibly overclock because your processer bottnecks a 280x

I don't see why he couldn't? I am using a r9 270x with i-3 3220 / 6gb and can max out everything i have attempted so far. watch dogs runs ultra / high piece of cake 40+fps. those processors are pretty close with the i-3 having a nice bit higher single core benchmarks. He still needs a better processor because that's such a powerful card and he probably isn't getting close to max performance. I run hdmi to 47" tv and always have vsync on with AA at least x2. so far everything can run at least all high settings like that. It also depends on what exactly do you mean by maxed out. some people take that as max AA and shadow detail all that stuff. Turn shadows from ultra to medium you can't see the difference and you gain 10+fps same with AA put on x2 /4 rather than 8/16. It would be extremely difficult to tell the difference between that with the other settings on ultra, but you will have a massive performance increase. So if you plan to adjust the settings a little like this I don't see why you can't run every game maxed out.

a fx 6300 is close to an i3 in multi threded performance (it has 6 cores he has 4), and you use a 1920x 1080 screen, he uses a 2560 x 1080 screen which is 3/2 the aount of pixels. so no

yeh your build seems fine, but like above id ditch that cpu and go with something better, like a 6/8 core amd processor, i personally have the fx8320 8-core processor and it plays everything, watch dogs/ cod/ battlefield ect ect. i picked mine up for just under £100 from http://www.cclonline.com/product/93470/FD8320FRHKBOX/CP...

choose a fx-8320 and overclock it to the level of the fx-8350. fx-4150 is a huge bottleneck for the 280x(maybe choose a gigabyte 280x) dual channel memmory is better(2x4gigs) maybe a western digital hdd. for the mobo the gigabyte ga 970a ud3p is a good choice(it handles the power of the 8320)
btw you will need a good cooler like the hyper 212 evo cooler or the gelid solutions tranquilo rev. 2(check if your case is big enough)
then you can max almost everything you can think about with 30+
games like bf4 possibly in 60+
