Summer = new cpu cooler, help?

So I can't get my CPU temp below 80 Celsius and it keeps shutting itself down due to overheating, when reaching even higher temps. I use four ram sticks which are very close to the CPU.

At first glance I was looking at the Noctua NH-U14S. But I soon realized there was no way I'd fit that thing with my mobo and my four ram sticks. As a matter of fact, I haven't came across any CPU cooler that I'm, 100% sure, would fit.

I have the i7 3770k and my case is the CM Storm Enforcer, which allows a CPU cooler height of 175mm.

So I'd like some help finding a good but lean CPU cooler that would fit in my setup. Aren't there any coolers which builds on height rather than width? Or at least are lean at the bottom, just to work with more RAM-models?

Thanks in advance! :)

The stock cooler is very bad when dusty, cleaning more often is needed for sure.

The hyper 212 plus cooler should fit fine(single tower with a fan on one side). The fan can be moved up to clear your memory(same with the Noctua you list).

I am not sure about your board, but the NH D14 cleared my Gskill memory fine. The 2 closest stick have to be installed before the cooler

You are right, I need to clean it. I recently cleaned all the fans, filters and such. But I put in four new case fans which seem to build dust at a higher pace, but they really helped my GPU-temps (SLI GTX 680). I'm going to get some canned air for cleaning some parts, especially that GPU in the picture which hasn't been cleaned in three years.

But overall my system is clean, I just can't get the dust away from the GPU in the picture. Also, it looks a lot worse when snapping pics with the flash on ;)

I wasn't aware that you could move the fans on the cooler. But when looking on Noctua's compatibility list, my DDR3 Corsair Vengance isn't supported. You reckon it would fit anyway?

Looked to quick and though you have some of the blue ripjaws. I think the Vengeance is taller.

On the front of Noctua NH-U14S and Hyper 212 variations. Single tower coolers tend to work ok in these types of setups, but you have to ensure that the fan is not too large or it will stop installation of the side panel.

You must always check to ensure the fan can be moved. The Noctua ones and CM ones(the CM does not move as far as the Noctua one can) can move.

Another option with the single tower coolers is to run the fan in pull on the other side of the heat sink.
