Hey, I am trying to install windows 7 on my new Samsung 840 EVO Pro, however whenever I try to boot it simply states

"Reboot and select proper boot device, or insert boot media in select boot device and press a key."

I have both tried TWO Windows disks and inserted a windows repair disk which was immediately recognised, so I don't believe it to be either the disk or the disk drive.

My BIOS Are set to Ahci for the SSD and the DVD Drive is the first boot option (I have also tried with it second, and having it as the ONLY option.)

Any ideas?
Thanks in advance

As for updating the bios, I have heard this is a somewhat risky process and if I'm frank I'd have no idea what I was doing. I have already installed windows 7 twice on this computer - But if you could give me a run through of updating my bios, then I suppose I can try it.

I have put the windows disk into another computer and managed to open it up in windows and can run the setup from there - Would it be a possibility to plug in BOTH my ssd and my WD Caviar, and run the installation from there? however, I also believed it was generally a bad idea to install windows whilst two disk drives are plugged in
