Hi, I am looking to build a desktop for work under 500 dollars. I live in Arizona and will mainly use this computer for work. I use programs like Microsoft Office and Outlook, and just general web browsing like facebook, youtube, and etc. Thank you in advance and please let me know if I let some stuff out that you will need to know.

You could add extra ram and an ssd though not really needed for your tasks

Would getting a cpu with more cores improve the performance or speed when using mc Office and Outlook? Sorry I forgot to mention that I will be using 2 monitors and multitasking

If you are going to do heavy multi tasking then 4 cores would be better. By heavy I mean like extracting a file, having 20 browser tabs opened while watching an hd movie. I don't mean having 20 browser tabs opened while working with Microsoft office, an i3 should do that fine

Since you do have some extra cash you could get an i5 or an ssd, though I'm not sure if it would really benefit. An ssd though would make your programs load faster and improve start up times
