Hey guys, I've made a pc on pcpartpicker.com and I need some help. My budget is $500 for the pc without a Graphics Card, Operating System, Monitor and Peripherals. I'm just asking anyone out there if my pc parts are compatible? Also are the parts in my build good? Feel free to recommend a better build or better parts but remember, with tax and shipping my build has to be around $500 I'll go a little higher but not by $50 or more. I live in Canada so if you're going to suggest something could please find it on a Canadian website. Link to build -> http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/4D38bv

PSU is trash. Change it for a 550w unit from XFX.

What GPU do you have?

I recommend a better motherboard as that one is 5 years old. Try to get a 970 chipset.

I don't have a gpu yet thats why I'm buying a mobo with onboard video. I'm buying a r9 280x soon though. What mobo do you recommend then? Also thanks for the quick answer!

The only AMD boards with onboard video are the ones with the 6 year old 760g chipset and are NOT recommended for FX CPUs. I recommend a 970 chipset minimum for the fx6300. It will not have onboard video but you could buy a cheap-o GPU to get you buy like an hd5450.

Make sure to change the PSU as well.

YEs, you will not be able to game with a cheap GPU though. It would be the same as using integrated graphics.

You could get a 970 board if you do not plan to do alot of overclocking.

No I'm probably going to overclock. In the future I'm going to buy a cooler master hyper 212 evo cooler and a r9 280x.

If I decide to not overclock would this be a good board or not so much? http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=13-130-6...

The MSI boards and not great for AMD. I would stick with Gigabyte and ASUS.
