Hi,

I'm building a new PC, and I was thinking about only using a 128 gb SSD until Christmas.
I'll probably buy a 1tb HDD when I get there, because 128 gb is not enough. Then I would only put my OS and my main programs in the SSD, the rest in the HDD.

Is that ok? Thanks.

right now 512's are really cheap. I'd buy one of those and forget about even buying a platter drive.............. not enough money? save it.

you can run a 256 and anther smaller drive ( ssd ) for storage/. I do that. a 120 is NOT big enough for anything other than storage. or a "grandma" machine where it will only be used for email or general internet use.

also, buying in the states? try neweggs bill me later program. can get a decent drive for small monthly payments over a 6month period.

Thanks everyone, I know I will fill it quickly, and I also know the more full it gets, the slower it will open stuff. Thanks, just wanted to make sure it wasn't a bad plan, you know, I have a budget :p thanks.
