The processor makes no difference. The motherboard is what will determine if it is compatible. Normally, any board that has a PCIe x16 slot will work with the card. Some pre-built PCs from that era may need their BIOS updated to recognize the card, but that is pretty rare. But do you have enough PSU for that card? Does it have a 6 pin PCIe cable?
