I already have a monitor, 1000GB HDD, an OS and 1x4GB DDR3 so ignore all of those. This is my first build and as previously mentioned I'm doing it tomorrow! Don't go a penny over the budget and I'll be using this system for recording gameplay and MILD video editing (my friend is editing for our channel!). PLEASE USE SCAN ONLY FOR PARTS, I CAN ONLY BUY THERE!

I don't feel like a 500 watt psu is enough for fx-6300 and r9 280, especially if you are going to overclock either one. I would go for a better psu:

Does that include peripherals? You should get 8GB really.

Don't have an SSD as your only drive unless it's a 500gb one or 1tb one, you can get a faster graphics card in this budget and also you can get a more reliable PSU

I don't think it will improve performance but it will speed up the boot times and loading times as well. Go for a better GFX card if you want and later add in an ssd.
