Im a big gaming nerd pretty much all i do. Im looking to build my own gaming pc i havent had the chance to build a new desktop in a long time. Im just looking for recommendations anyone might have. The price range is flexible if something puts it over by a little. My end goal is to be able to play any game that is out right now or in the near future.

Thanks

Mike

Don't get a card with less than 3GB ram, games are already demanding more than 2GB and it will hold your whole system back.

I made a bet on AMD with mantle and the new consoles having AMD CPU and GPU.

AMD 8350 with a 990FX board paired with a R9 290, should pretty much run anything at 1080p for some time to come :)

Which 990fx board did you mean? and do you think the 8350 is worth the extra money vs the fx-6300?

Thanks again

Not necessarily better, it is quite a bit better for rendering and stuff, but in gaming you won't notice much of a difference
