Steps To Download SP2 Vista Help.

I just got my wireless working and installed all the updates on my laptop. I right clicked on my computer and saw I'm running SP1 and I guess I need to update to SP2 though it's not in windows update but this is what happens it takes me to a page that says to upgrade internet explorer to 9 I click that and get that message in the pic what should I do?

Also I have 32bit.

You probably have to go to SP2 or SP3 first. Look in Windows Updates.

It says in that pic I can download it if I have sp2 or higher but apparentely need it to download sp2..

Updating to SP2 happens through Windows Update, not IE. Just cancel out of that IE update prompt, and get whatever updates are waiting via Windows Update. SP2 and SP3, and whatever else is there.

I have 3 updates waiting in windows update wireless card related maybe I will try that and see if SP2 comes after them and see what happens how do you manually set a restore point?

I don't have a Vista machine set up, so I can't tell you the exact steps.

yeah, just learned that it does it by itself when installing drivers so ill try these updates real quick.

I downloaded those updates and there is nothing left to update I returned this laptop to factory settings and have been going through all these updates SP2 hasn't came up yet and when I check for updates it isn't there and when I click that link in the picture I have to have SP2 to upgrade to internet explorer 9 should I just wait maybe it will come up in updates or can I download it manually somewhere?
