Hello everybody I just want to say thanks for all the help in the forums that helped me on the road to my first gaming PC build coming from Xbox one and ps4.
Anyhow, I heard you can connect 4 to 8 pin CPU but my question is what pins. I thought it wouldn't fit the wrong way but also heard you could so just wanted to make sure. I can't try right now cause my PSU wrote won't reach. I know right?
Also my PSU (ocz 520 modstream) only has one 6 pin PCI e, I need to buy a new PSU but don't have any funds for a few weeks for a new one.
Gtx 760 2gb has 1 6 pin and 1 8 pin. SO I plugged dual molex to six pin adapter the GPU came with and plugged 6 pin into 8 pin port and it does fit. Is this OK? What about jumping the 2 ground like y'all prob already heard or leave the 6 pin.
