Hello,
since I've installed Windows 7 64 bits on my computer, I've got this irritating 0xc000007b error which pops up on some programs (for this thread I'm going to take as an exemple the Oculus Rift game Senza Peso). I've been searching for a solution for more than 7 hours and I can't take it anymore...
Here's what I've tried :
- a CHKDSK
- a sfc /scannow
- 3 complete re-installations of all the important runtimes : Visual C++ 2005, 2008, 2010, 2012 and 2013 (64 and 32 bits) as well as .NET Framework 3.5.1 and 4.5.1
- doing all the Windows Updates
- re-installing the game
- and doing more than 10 reboots of course...
I've read there : http://msoos.wordpress.com/2010/09/11/0xc000007b-error-solution/ that this error came from the computer mixing up 64 and 32 bits DLL, thus trying to use a 64 bits DLL for a 32 bits program, so I checked with Dependency Walker thinking I would only have 1 or 2 DLL to replace and here's what I got : http://puu.sh/a8Yek/314ce150a6.png (yeah, the red icons are the DLLs to replace, and this is only a tiny part of the tree...)
So yeah, I'm now asking for your help to get me out of this...

Solution
then try using registry mechanic , tuneup utilities ....or do a system restore ......and for your kind information these type of software are not always virus and malware and sometimes do help in fixing the registry ..... and if you do not have an antivirus soft then its okk not to use it..
