Just wondering what you guys would suggest GPU-wise to compliment my new Intel i5 3570 :)
I currently have an nVidia GeForce GTX 550 ti, but that's probably a bottleneck now, so any suggestions would be great! :]
I'm not looking to spend megabucks, £170-£220 is likely the most I could afford :)

Thanks in advance :]

I'd get a GTX 770, It's a bit more, but VERY good performance, you'd be able to ultra any game out there.
Another option is a GTX 770, buy i think a bit more for a GTX 770 is worth it. The R9 280X is also an option, if you like the extra 1gb of Vram.

No, the R9 280X, 290 and 290X are the most picked cards for bitcoin miners. And bitcoin mining destroys GPUs, so NEVER buy second hand cards, especially not AMD ones!

I don't like the new series of Dual X cards. They have a weaker cooler than the previous generations. I built a fx 8320 and this card and it overheats, and it's loud, while I have the 7970 Dual X and it's very good.

What kind of power supply do you have? I would try for the R9 280X or the GTX 770; it all depends on whether you prefer nVidia or AMD.

The R9 280X uses the same cooler as the 7970 Dual-X.

+1... They probably have been abused to crap.
