A couple of months ago, I made a mistake of exposing some water to my Model M. Not a lot of water but enough to make the keyboard go nuts. I unplugged the keyboard at this point and gave it a couple of days to dry out.
When I plugged up my keyboard, I saw that the keyboard was connected property and the lights worked fine. However, Some keys would work perfectly and others would input the wrong keys or even did Windows commands.
For Example,
Keys "5" "T" "G" would all input 5tg.
Keys "6" "Y" "H" would all input 6yh.
The back buttons forces internet pages to go back.
Backspace time stamps "7:31 PM 7/13/2014"
TAB inputs ' then the space
Does this keyboard have a chance for revival? I am thinking about disassembling it and cleaning it, however I think the board on the keyboard is just FUBAR.
Any thoughts or suggestions on what to do?
