the audio is not working with msi z87 gd65

i just bought kraken neon headphones and i cant hear anything

i tried another headphone but this one was by usb and it worked just fine

any idea how to make sure that iam using the right setting ? i feel that the problem from the setting

becasue i tried the kraken neon headphone on other rig it worked fine

Sounds like your headphone jack is not working properly. If its on the front of your case please check the audio header on your motherbd, If your audio header is selectable between hd and ac97 in the bios, make sure it matches what the case has.

i didnt get what u mean with hd and ac97 anyway the case i have is nzxt phantom 410

i tried the jack on the back the one from the motherboard same problem

the pc recognize someting is plugged in here is a picture that may help u figure what is the problem

Connector: Analog 3.5 mm combined jack (headphone and mic)

you need to be using the splitter for this when you use it on your pc.
It looks like this

well now the headphones worked somehow while i was playing with the setting of programm
