I'm looking for a new PC since my old laptop broke and I don't want to invest money on it getting fixed because it gives horrible performance anyways. I've put out several threads but now have 3 builds that I can start out with. Note that I will be able to upgrade to a R7-260x in the future. I only want to be able to play casual games like Minecraft, Skyrim, Rust, and Source Engine games( Tf2, Gmod, LFD2, and Half life 2).

1st build-

This build has a A8-6600k APU. After seeing lots of game plays with it, I've seen that it can play TF2 on high settings with 60fps while recording and 80fps while not recording. This means that it will play all Source Engine games very well.
I'm only going to have 4gbs 1866mhz ram while the video that I saw had 8gbs 1866mhz ram. I will upgrade to 8gbs of ram if I get this build.

2nd build-

This has the cheapest Haswell CPU on the market right now. This only has Intel HD Graphics but it gives lots of choices for upgrading in the future. I haven't seen a lot of game plays from it but I know that I won't do very well.

3rd build-
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/BJH4YJ
This build has a Athlon X4-750k with a GT 610. The GT 610 can play TF2 on high settings at 720p with 30-40fps while recording and 50-60fps not recording. It should be able to handle Source games well. If I get this build, I won't have to upgrade my CPU for a while. This would allow me to get the R7-260x a lot faster.

Those are my choices of right now. Remember that I only want to play casual games and that I will be able to upgrade to a R7-260x.

If you are going to upgrade anyway then i would suggest you wait and build a proper pc rather than waste money on cards like the 610 or an apu you won't use in the future.

Build something around the 750k with the 260x.
For a 260x you'll need at least 450W. Trya Seasonic 520, XFX 550 or Antec HCG 520M instead.

$250 will get you nowhere. You'd be better off saving another couple of hundered dollars.

Have a look at combo deals eg http://www.newegg.com/Store/ComboDeals.aspx?ComboStoreID=1. Maybe one with G3258
See http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/pentium-g3258-overclocking-performance,3849.html

HD4600 will be as good at the gt610 or the a8-6600k

If you're only doing casual gaming i would go with the first build. I would however get 2133 ram and overclock the cpu and gpu. I've overclocked a 5400k to insane levels and can handle any source game while only have 2 cores and a very weak gpu.

If you're only playing source games and don't intend on running something heavy why even bother with a 260x?
