CPU help strange thing

so i was checking if i had the latest drivers, and i done the auto detect by amd, it said "a-series apu" when i have a fx 6100 cpu, now i dont know much about computers, so is this normal?? its a driver. whats is a "APU"? thanks you

Yes sorry you have something way off here.

If you have an FX 6100 it doesn't have a driver. What you need to download is the motherboard driver, or maybe the graphics card driver if you have an AMD graphics card. Please list the parts in your computer so we can help more. An APU is something else.

I think I'm fine, I don't a windows scan and it said it detected the fx 6100 and dxdiag. So it think it's just a error, I checked my CPU it's fine and so is the cooler.
