My friend wants me to build him a pc in a micro atx case, so i built him one just under his budget that i'm pretty sure should get medium-high-max settings on the games he plays, but i'm not sure so i want your opioion.

AMD Athlon X4 760K 3.8GHz Quad-Core Processor

Asus A55BM-K Micro ATX FM2+ Motherboard

A-Data XPG V1.0 4GB (1 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory

Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive

Sapphire Radeon R9 270 2GB Dual-X Video Card

BitFenix Prodigy M Midnight MicroATX Mini Tower Case

Thermaltake SMART 550W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply

Ok, so i'm wondering, should i change anything? his budget is $700 cad, i know this isnt $700, but we live in a place with high taxes and shipping so i'm leaving some room for taxes, if you think i can add more then please tell me. The main thing i'm wondering is, are they compatable/what should i change/ what settings can he get? The highest end game he plays is smite.

To bring the price down a bit, i changed the the ram to 4 gb corsair ram, witch shouldn't be a problem since he doesnt play demanding games, and the power supply to the corsair cx 500w semi modular, is this build still good?

newer intel 3258 is an unlocked cpu and is a better gaming cpu. also with the h97 mb when he has the money he can drop in an i5 latter if needed. with a gaming pc the min ram you want is 8g of 1600 speed. you want two match ram dimm now. newer mb run in 2 channel mode with two dimms with one dimm the mb ram will take a performance hit. the brad of power supply you picked out is not a great brand also it under sized for a gaming rig. with power supplys and gaming pc you need to make sure the 12v line has the wattage and amps rating for the cpu and gpu and then give it 100w more. the extra 100w will keep the power supply from over heating or shutting down durning long gaming. ask your friend a few questions. one is he looking for a small pc now or the best pc he can get for his money. if he looking for the best pc. have he swap out the smaller case for the cosair r300. (they have a window version) or http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/part/bitfenix-case-bfcneo100kkxksrp
use the savings for the ram or a better gpu. then go with a larger asus-a mb. with the z97 mb he can latter put a k cpu in and over clock. the intel stock cooler are bad..the plastic feet snap off. spend a litte extra funds buy a coler thta uses a backplate.

I asked him, he said he wants a small pc, and i talked to him the build you gave me was good, i don't need to downgrade anything, but the no disc install could be a bit of a problem...He said windows is a must, i have windows on disc, but not a usb drive. Is there a way i can maybe get windows on the usb drive?

so your friend and you dont get into any issue with microsoft make sure you use one non used oem number for his new pc.
if you try and use your oem number both your pc and his will get the dreaded this version of windows is not authentic.
you can use your disk or digital rivers web page to download an iso and make a usb boot with this free tool.
http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msusa/html/pbPage.Help_Win7_usbdvd_dwnTool
if your in school you can get from microsoft edu program windows and office and other software at a discount.
if not he have to buy from online or ebay a windows oem or retail disk. for a vailed oem number.
