computer crashes, lights flashing, fans still running

Hi after running my computer for 2 hours it suddenly "shuts down" but the lights on the power and restart button is still flashing, and the fan runs and then stops and runs again. And also nothing happens when I press the power or restart button. Whats the problem??

Plz help

Computer specs:
Cpu: intel celeron E3400 double core 2.6ghz
Motherboard: Asus P5G41C-M LX
Ram: Kingston DDR3 4GB
Graphics/Video Card: Intel G41 Express chipset 1.5GB

Well it sounds like a psu problem, try unplugging the cable, or if you can switch the a/c power cable....If that doesnt change anything its best to say you need a new power supply

Could also try resetting the CMOS before you buy a new PSU, just to see if that helps.

Sounds like it's trying to start back up with no avail, so after it shut downs, you press the power button and it wont power up? when you press the power button do the fans stop trying to start back up all together and do the lights go off?
