Hi, I'm curious on something, I have a pre-built Acer Aspire M3900.
This came with an E5700 Pentium Dual Core processor, it has 6GB RAM, and originally used Intel Integrated Graphics, I've since updated to a Geforce 8600 GTS Card I got from my Engineering Teacher.
(It's on a fresh reboot, 64-bit Windows 7.)
I'm curious to see what I can upgrade the card to now. I've seen threads saying the GTX 650 was compatible, but I figured I'd post everything I can about my PC.
I'm just planning on bettering the performance I get on games already, such as Rust, DayZ Mod, DayZ SA, Etc. I might go for some new games as well. But nothing that doesn't support my CPU.

Please, share your knowledge, or opinion on which cards I can use and can not use.
Thanks.

EDIT: Honestly, I'm just looking for something better than the 8600, a lot better.

Solution
You should be OK with a GTX650 and the Pentium. Just make sure you've for a good 400W power supply.

Down the track you should think about upgrading again though.

Honestly, I plan to in the future. But I need something to use for now. And if I can get a good card now, I can use it on the new rig. Win win right? :p
