hey all!
i have just been thinking about upgrading and custom water cooling my PC

it will have:
4770k overclocked depending on the capability of the water cooling
2x R9 290 watercooled
Corsair AX860
500GB and 120GB Samsung EVO, 2TB seagate Baracuda
16GB Gskill Ares RAM
GB z87xUD3h
Corsair 500r - side window modded
all corsair SP120/140 quiet Eds.

So i was wondering...
1. If a 140mm Rad (36mm, in back) and a 240mm (36mm, in top) would give enough cooling to keep the temps low on the CPU and GPUs

2.which coolants out of these...
http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=207_160_301
would be the best (not looking for UV or anything, going solid white tubes)

3. and if there would be any difficulties in space...

the setup will be as follows...

240mm Rad at top (fittings facing the front, inside case at the top with fans under the mesh ) going to a tube style Resivior, Connected to a pump next to the HDD bays (via a M-M type fitting to keep it like 1 unit), going up to the bottom GPU (wich has a xfire fitting in the middle) and out the top of the top GPU, then to CPU, CPU to 140mm at back (holes at top) straight over to the other 240mm hole (tube is straight with a 90 degree fitting to link up)

Hopefully there isnt any major issues that prevents me from water cooling my system...

when i think im finished my parts list i will post it... (if linking parts, try to link them from PCCG, as it will be the place im purchasing from)

Solution
R9 290/x are very hot cards and a oc'ed 4770_k produces a decent amount of heat too.
If you search for the anount of radiators, you'll probably find the thumb rule 1x 120mm per block+120mm more -> that would give you 480mm

I would go with a minimum of that, you can never have enough rads, although it still might be possible if you're okay with 'bad' temps

If you're going for solid white tubes, just use distilled water. Those coolants can gunk up so you need to clean them out every so often. Also you can get silver coils that acts as a biocide in the distilled water.
