Galaxy Geforce GTX 780 HOF vs. Gigabyte GTX 780 Windforce OC

Solution
The Galaxy Geforce GTX 780 HOF would be definitely the better choice ............The Galaxy HOF and Gigabyte Winforce 3X both comes pre-overclocked but HOF has higher clock speed 1006 MHz. whereas the Gigabyte has 954 MHz. ...........both has the same memory bandwidth but the HOF has a higher Pixel fill rate of 48.3 G.Pixel/s and the Gigabyte Windforce has 45.8 G.Pixel/s .........both need 600 watts PSU at least............but you should get about 4% better perfomance than the Windforce 3X .....if u buy the Galaxy GTX 780 HOF.............. the card has a 12% boost over the reference edition...........so my recommendation would be definitely gtx 780 hof............hope this helped you ... :)
what's the price difference between the two?

I have a windforce 3X OC R9 290X and it is a great cooler from me experience, the same as the one on that 780 from Gigabyte.

That said i do actually prefer the HOF edition cooler by Galaxy, I have never used it personally but from the feedback from users who bought that card it would appear to be the better option.

an overclock can match the two, as with any other card.

an overclock can nearly match the two...........but don't forget the Galaxy HOF can also be overclocked -_- @unknownofprob ........

as I said "any other card".

not all cards have the same overclocking ability, and also just because one card is overclocked higher, it does not mean that it can be overclocked that bit further over any other card. Don't know what your on about.

A higher pre-overclock doesn't mean that a particular card will always be faster, it doesn't work out that way never.
