Hi,
i'm torn between the two Motherboards above.

I'm building a gaming machine.. and the above are £140 for Mark 2…. and £180 for Mark 1..

the rest of my spec is:

CPU - Intel Core i7-4790K 4.00 GHz
Motherboard - ASUS Z97 Pro
CPU Fan - Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
Video Card - Sapphire AMD R9 290X VAPOR-X OC Graphics Card (4Gb DDR5, 384-bit, PCI-E)
Video Card - Sapphire AMD R9 290X VAPOR-X OC Graphics Card (4Gb DDR5, 384-bit, PCI-E)
RAM - Crucial Ballistix Sport 16GB
SSD - Crucial M550 240GB
HDD - Western Digital Black 1TB
Case - CM Storm Stryker – Full Tower
Power Supply - Seasonic M12II-850
Optical Drive - Samsung 24x SATA DVD RW

which would be best for gaming? - i'm trying to future proof my rig… and so i'm leaning towards the Mark 1…… - but i don't really know what i'm doing :)

thanks,
R

Am I reading this chart wrong or does it seem like the Thermal Armor doesn't make a significant difference?

Armor makes colder those parts of mobo - which are under armor.
And first of all I like armor for protection from physical damage.

Yes but according to that chart, it's only a 0.5-1 degree difference in temp right?
