Hello, I just recently put together my first computer. The specs are here http://pcpartpicker.com/user/xxcmpxx/saved/qb3H99 So, when I connected my flash drive, it started going downhill with the sound. When ever i would move something from the drive to my computer it would make these odd electronic noises in my headphones. Also another thing i noticed is when I would plug in this usb xbox controller that i bought from gamestop, It would make a steady, static, buzzing sound. Finally, when I would play my game world of warcraft and go into a major city with the graphics on utra, and also frequently on medium settings, there is a static buzzing noise. The sound seems to be fine though when doing regular internet browsing.

Does anyone know what this means? Is it something wrong with the motherboard or graphics card? I've read some people's threads with similar problems but nothing conclusive for me.
Edit: One more thing, I noticed that when the buzzing static sound happens during world of warcraft, I can make out some faint glimmering across the monitor. It's very faint but I can notice it just barely.

Nvm, I found the problem. I didn't install the motherboard stand off correctly because of the cheap case. I bought a new case and now the static noise is gone from the audio. Thanks
