I have been building a pc with components as follows :
Asus Maximus VI Hero
i7 4770k
Galaxy Gtx 780 ti Hall of Fame edition
Gskill Ares 8gb x 2 @ 1600 MHz
Seasonic 850X 80 plus gold
Seagate Barracuda 2tb
Some random disk writer
Sandisk X210 256gb

So the problem is like this, when I don't have the SSD plugged in the system boots into bios fine. When it is plugged in it refuses to POST. It is a functioning SSD, the computer store guy said it worked when plugged into other computers, but somehow not with mine. I have not installed OS because I had my heart set on using the SSD. Please post back with some ideas to proceed or any ideas as to what may be the problem. Keep in mind that the drive is not damaged.

EDIT : I changed the title. Now the build does boot to BIOS but I can't get it to recognise.

Now it is posting but not being read on the bios. When it is the only thing and plugged into the first SATA slot it says I need to change CSM settings because BIOS settings don't support it. Now I am not sure what to change it to to make it work.

This guy appears to have a similar issue :

The barracuda drive is functioning and I can't get the SSD to detect even when I have it hooked to the cables of stuff that's working. Updated my BIOS to the latest, tried different cables, different ports, nada.
