Hello Everyone,

I have just received my Toxic r9 280X with Seasonic 1050W last weekend and started to swap old parts like GTX 285 and 500W PCU. Anyways, after installing all the parts and of course with the new liquid Cooler Master that came with the CM Chassis, I announced my success through the hood and they might been up to something that is not good like not knocking on the wood. Surprisingly, the GPU fans rotates like there won't be tomorrow with an exciting orange Glare( I do support Holland although they beaten Brazil). Unfortunately, my PC can't recognize Toxic r9 280X ,and won't recognize that the GTX 285 days are gone(although it's working :D ). In addition the Sapphire CD gives me an installation(Admin Group error)as far as I can recall it. Please Help Me!!!! :(

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 860 @ 2.80GHz (8 CPUs), ~2.8GHz
Card name: Was NVIDIA GeForce GTX 285 and now it's Sapphire Toxic r9 280X :D
Memory: 6144MB RAM
Power: Was GIGABYTE 550W and now it's Seasonic X1050W Gold:D

I'm guessing you fully uninstalled all old drivers etc. for the 285 first before powering down and swapping parts. Are you get any beeps during post when you turn it on? Usually if something is wrong it will give you some different beeps than the normal single during post. What motherboard are you currently using?

Do 2 things then get back to us:
1) Uninstall old Nvidia drivers (http://www.nvidia.com/object/IO_13955.html)
2) Download and install the latest drivers for your graphics card from here: http://support.amd.com/en-us/download

You said there was an problem installing the driver, i suspect that is the problem.

It used to hear a beep till I dusted the ram sticks and reapplied a Thermal Paste(After viewing the Black screen Warning ofc) on the CPU heat sink. Regarding the mother board it's Intel Desktop Board DH55HC according to the Manual by GIGABYTE.

@Zaza101 You are right. Updating all the AMD drivers from A-Z was the ultimate solution. I was so into complications like resetting BIO's, Graphic Card is dead(Although it's brand new) and the list scrolls down. LoL, the solution was under my nose and I overlooked it. T
Thank You very Much fellas and God bless you all,
