Hi, just fitted a GTX 770 and there is no display from my monitor. I have two, forgot to buy a DVI Cable so only one is fitted, and there is no display from either. The computer beeps when started up too. Please help.
The Card needs PCIe power from the PSU two connectors. If you already have connected them what is the make and model of your PSU?
I connected the two six pins and an addition 2 pin because the light was red and turned green when I put the other 2 pin in. PSU is Corsair 650W Enthusiast Series™ TX650 V2-80 PLUS®.
I can confirm the computer is running and it is just the display - as I turned it on and Steam streaming enabled on this laptop, which does so when you arre logged in on 2 machines.
What brand/model psu are you using?
A GTX770 wants a psu with 42a available on +12v and both a 6 and a 8 pin pcie power connector.
It takes typically a 600w psu.
If your psu is of low quality, it may not deliver advertised power.
Edit: too quick.
Your psu should be ok.
Is the input selector on your monitor set to the proper input?
Does using a different output on the GTX770 make a difference?
