OK 1. Sry u needed to wait so long for the replay
2. I didnt get this. Are this 2 builds builded and u just need to chose what build to buy (1 or 2) or did u find this components and "builded" this 2 pc's and now ur want from us to say what to change??? (sry if u didnt get this)
3.i will build u an PC with this components and u say is this to expencive
I5 4670k (u can go with 4690 not OC or 4690k for OC)
Corsair h110 (cm 212 evo for less money and if not OC so much)
Msi z87 g45 gaming ( gigabyte ga-z97x-sli for 4690 and 4690k)
Corsair vengeance 8gb (no need for more GB or MHz)(u can find 8gb of RAM for less money)
Western digital caviar blue 1tb( if Seagate Barracuda is cheaper then go for Seagate)
R9 290x (gtx 780 for less money)
Zalman z11 plus (good looking case for good money)
If u are gonna go with crossfire and sli then go with 850w (xfx xxx series 850w), if not going with sli or crossfire u will need 650w (ask someone for this, but xfx xxx series 650w)(xfx xxx series is tier 1 psu and that is awseome)

im just looking into building my first gaming PC i have not built either of them yet i was just wondering building one of them at somepoint this summer, im always looking to keep the price down a little but im always happy to spend a little bit extra on anything that will really boost the system specs

im looking to spend at the most of about £500-£600 and generally want to play newer games on high or ultra settings if possible

thank you for your reply, i will have a look at those suggestions you made for me, one question, how much effect do the mhz have on the memory? but i will definately start with 8gh as per your suggestion as i can always add more if the time comes where i need it :)

Yes, this is that best(for me is the best) psu. Can u tell me how much money can u use for this build (i know 500-600, but can u give more than that??). I builded an PC for 880£ but i think that is to much. I can only change the GPU so the build can be around 700-800£

wow thats great thank you, i was going to post the rough prices i wanted to spend but i didnt reply in time

i had one or two small suggestions i thought id see what your opinion was on these 2 alternatives, but i like all the other suggestions you made on that build so i dont see a reason to consider anything else for most of it, thank you :)

possible changes:

similar price cpu

£158 i5-4670k
£168 i5-4690k

cheaper ram with better latency

£61.74 G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
£53.00 G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory http://www.gskill.com/en/product/f3-12800cl7d-8gbxm

graphics card

what other graphics cards would you suggest that may be a step down from the 280x but still do a decent job? the R9 270? i could possibly even crossfire the R9 270 for only £150 you see, so thought i would ask

thank you again

ah ok i see, i didnt notice it was 87 not 97 mobo, i will stick with the one you chose then thats fine

im just trying to find the site that i came across it on earlier, ill post it for you once i do

and thank you, i think i will have to hold out until some of the better GPU's are a bit cheaper in a year or so and find a compromise card for now

no problem enjoy yourself and just get back to me when you have some free time :) thanks for all your help already

sorry for the long reply but ive been looking around and comparing stuff so thought id just get it all in this once post and then im likely to be ready to start ordering after it :) i also just won a brand new i5-4670k for £140 so already £15 cheaper or so

the ram i saw earlier for £53

http://www.newegg.com/global/uk/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231536

two others similar but i dont think as good what do you think

http://www.newegg.com/global/uk/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231445

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/G-SKILL-Ripjaws-X-8GB-2-x-4GB-DDR3-1866-PC3-14900-Memory-F3-14900CL8D-8GBXM-/251513902168?_trksid=p2054897.l5662

i also found the mobo you suggested about £1 cheaper, which isnt much but i also found these while i was looking, just wondered if you thought any of them really match up to the extreme 3 mobo you chose

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MSI-Z87-G43-Gaming-Series-Intel-Z87-ATX-Motherboard-Socket-LGA-1150-/141338164650?pt=UK_Computing_LaptopMotherboards_CPUs_CA&hash=item20e8693daa

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Gigabyte-Z87X-D3H-rev-1-1-Intel-Socket-H3-LGA-1150-USB-3-0-SATA3-ATX-Motherboard-/171363529769?pt=UK_Computing_LaptopMotherboards_CPUs_CA&hash=item27e60ff429

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Gigabyte-Z87X-OC-LGA1150-Motherboard-Core-i3-i5-i7-4-DDR3-2-USB3-0-8-USB2-0-/251569310476?pt=UK_Computing_LaptopMotherboards_CPUs_CA&hash=item3a92b30b0c

if they arnt as good then obviously i will stick with the extreme 3 mobo

and lastly, ive been thinking i may just go with the 7950 for the time being as it seems a little better than the 270x and both are around £90 - £100 which would be great until i can afford a more updated graphics card, but which version do you think is best? im about to look into crossfire compatability aswell

XFX Radeon HD R7950 (3072 MB) (FX795ATDBC) black edition Graphics Card
MSI Radeon HD 7950 OC 830MHZ 3GB GDDR5
Gigabyte Radeon HD 7950 (3072 MB) (GVR795WF33GD)
MSI Radeon HD 7950 Twin Frozr III R7950 3GD5 3GB Boost Edition AMD

games:

Call of duty mw2, black ops2, advanced warfare, battlefield 3, battlefield 4, watchdogs, gtav

im not necessarily expecting to hit ultra or even high on one or two of them like watchdogs though, but some fairly decent to run it atleast would be nice

thanks again for all your help, oh and dont worry i wont, i got the CPU from a friend who had bought 2 by accident, he had it on ebay so i told him to take it down because i wanted it, i wouldnt want to risk using used parts in a newly built PC, too much risk

and sure i definately will :) i feel it be rude not to haha

kind regards

yes very much so thank you :) its almost exactly what i wanted at the start but uve managed to narrow it down to a much nicer price, i could have made a fair few mistakes along the way in terms of memory cpu and PSU escecially so thank you

i just clicked "pick as a soltion" on your final build post but it just keeps reloading the page and pick a solution option is still there, am i doing something wrong? sorry ive only used the site once before

could it be because im signed in with a facebook account maybe? let me know if you can, ill check back later to see so i can pick your "final build" post and get this closed :)
