I plan on purchasing the Corsair Air 540, I really like the look and it would work well with my system. I noticed that the case comes with 3 AF140L series fans, and I was wondering would there be any performance or acoustic increase if I switched these out for after market AF140? or is the only difference in the design and coloured rings?
thx

Solution
Is either of those the same model which comes with the H110 water cooler? I found them to be far
too loud, replaced them with Nanoxia Deep Silence units, much better.

Detailed specs on Corsair's fans should be on their web site, or I expect various sellers should
list the specs on their product pages (eg. quietpc, etc.)

I think the stock corsair fans work just fine, although I've swamped them out on my 350D for color scheme purposes between my SP120s, af120/140's. The stock fans on most of the corsair cases I've had were great just not stylish. The only case fans I didn't really care for was the stock fans on the 300R when I had it they seemed cheap. (I've had the 350D, 450D,650D, 600T, 300R)
