FX 8320 With 970 Chipset

So, I am buying my new PC, and even though I am fairly good with this kind of stuff, I'm not too great with motherboards. So, I'm buying an AMD FX 8320 with a Gigabyte GA-970A-D3P. Even though PC Part Picker, does not say there is a issue with Vishera, I want to know because I don't have another CPU to put in until I update the bios. Also, If there is a issue, please tell me a different cheap and high quality Motherboard I can get.

There is no issue. The motheboards supports all AM3+ CPUs since its first BIOS release (F3).

this is the proper board you need for the vishera. it will also easily overclock!

No you will need at least a 212 EVO the stock cooler is poor.

yes the stock cooler will suffice as long as you dont o/c. all amd cpu cooler are all very loud but it will do the job till you get your water cooling!else the 212 evo suggested will be enough even for moderate overclocking!

I can confirm what he said! Don`t get the GA-970A-DS3P , i have it and i can`t overclock shit on my 8350

The UD3P is one of the best cheap options suitable for overclocking an FX-8320 (or 8350).

The stock cooler can be used if you don't overclock.
