Hi.. I 'm thinking of oc my cpu, not something extreme. I have a Q6600(G0) @ 2.4GHz and want to go till 3.0-3.2GHz with a Thermaltake V1 cooler. However, I worry about the quality of my mb (Asrock P45DE). Is it good for oc or it will be fried? I wanted to buy a Noctua NH-C14 in order to cool the other components too but my psu is on the top of my case and it doesnt leave enough space for the cooler. What should I do?

Solution
there should be no problem OC to 3.0 - 3.2 because it is very minimum ...
i don't think you will have any problem. mine 3.8 full load stress mode is only 59C .. and that air cool .. similar to 212 Evo

but come down to it ... any OC is at your own risk ... but then it fun too

there should be no problem .... i had to change my MB last year so i can use DDR3 ram .... got 1 of those MSI microAXT ( no body make MB for 775 any more)

i oc mine to 3.6 and 3.82 no problem ... you should not have any problem at all to 3.2 ... maybe even use stock voltage

mine 3.82 Vcore is 1.3625
