Can I run a GTX 760 with a CS450M PSU?

I recently bought myself a CS450M from corsair would this be stable to power a GTX 760?

I will not be overclocking anything, my build has an I5-4590 and 1 SSD.

If this would not be stable, what would be my best option with this PSU?
(I am looking at the R9 270 - but it is hard to find out which brand draws the lease power)

thanks!

R9 270 will run good with a 450W PSU, go for it... No doubt..

The Cooler Master GX-450W (RS-450-ACAA-D3) power supply unit, with its maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 35 Amps and with one 6-pin PCI Express supplementary power connector, is electrically sufficient to power your system configuration with a single Radeon R9 270X graphics card. You will need to use a dual 4-pin Molex peripheral to 6-pin PCI-E adapter cable to handle the second PCI Express supplementary power connector on the graphics card. This PSU has no margin for overloading. A fraction of a Watt over 450 Watts will trigger its Over Power Protection (OPP) circuit.

So, R9 270 will work fine, if you have decent quality PSU..

And would this be bordering towards the unsafe side?
As in, would probably work but with a chance to kille the GPU?

The GTX 750 Ti is the highest graphics level option I can find which should run safe then?

R9 270(X)
It's more powerful. It might run on your PSU but I am not too sure. It's the second most powerful on the list. The 265 uses about the same amount of power as the 270.

Unless the PSU is malfunctioning somehow or running seriously out of spec, the most likely risk is that you'd see shutdowns/reboots or system crashes during times of heavy PSU load. It would be pretty unusual for any harm to come to your system just from having too little power to run it.

No, it won't be any dangerous and won't kill anything
