Where Should I Upgrade My System?

Hello all!

Overview: So last year I built myself a gaming computer, and it's been running and playing games like a charm. But, earlier in January I began playing the DayZ Standalone, which is an Early Access game. On my rig, I get 15-40 FPS depending on my location in the game, which is very frustrating when I am trying to record.

Question: On a budget of about $700, I've been thinking of two possible upgrades. Which one, in your opinion, will be most beneficial to running this game, and provide some future proofing as well?

1) Simply replace my current GFX card with a GTX 780Ti

2) Modify most of my rig and buy a i7 processor, new motherboard, new water cooler, and buy a second GTX 670 FTW used. This method might take me closer to $800, but that's ok.

Thanks for all the help, I really appreciate it.

MY CURRENT RIG:
Processor: AMD FX 8350 @ 4.8Ghz on Corsair H100i Water Cooling
GPU: EVGA GTX 670 FTW
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2x8GB) @ 1866Mhz
Motherboard: Asus Sabertooth 990FX R2.0

So, is this card the same one? Because it's alot cheaper than the one from the link that you sent me, but I can't seem to find a difference. Also, why would you recommend a r290x over a 780ti?
