Hello there again!

So, my first processor, the Phenom II x4 955, is getting stable 60 fps on minecraft even with recording, but with my new processor the FX-6350, doesnt get stable 60 fps while recording(same settings, and same hardware(except for the motherboard).
I hope I'll get an answer from you guys!

Thanks in advance,

ComputerNoobX(not so nooby anymore though, but still noob)

What do you mean by not being stable? Drops from 60 to like 20 or 30? Keep in mind, the FX cores design are somewhat weaker than the K10 cores since they share a floating point unit and the cache. And minecraft is a CPU expensive game that does not take advantage of multiple cores.

If the game still being playable with only some occasional drops, just ignore it.

But it's not only with Minecraft, I've just experienced on the same settings on BF3, I get lower fps with my FX-6350, with my Phenom II x4 955 I got
50-60 FPS and now, 30-50FPS....

As I expected, that motherboard is clamping your processor, like it did to me. You better use your old one. Why? Your new motherboard lacks a heatsink on the VRMs, while your old one have it. Lack of heatsinks, mean that the power hungry FX is overheating them, and then there is a throttle.

That'll be a problem...
I gave my old motherbord to my brother, that lives right now abroad...
So, I guess I have to sell this one and buy another one, or could I just add a case fan to the left side of my pc case and hope for the best?
